Five Elements Solo Exhibition
by Carmen Ky
“For me art is about ideas, it is a contemplative process. The paintings in this exhibition are the result of immersion and contemplation in diverse landspaces as well as research into cultural interpretations of the ancient phiosophy of the Five Elements: earth, water, fire, air and space, especially through Indian and Tibetan traditions of Buddhism. By bringing another perspective to the elements, I hope to evoke a deep respect for our natural environment.”
Unfortunately an extreme storm event damaged the gallery on 3rd of February 2023 and the gallery remains closed until damage is repaired, thanks to gallery staff there was minimal damage to artworks, however the ORIGIN show will not resume.
